Womens BJJ Gi Size Guide
A guide to help women find their Jiu Jitsu Gi size and hopefully find something that fits better than an odd sized mens gi.
Luckily there are more dedicated womens jiu jitsu brands popping up now, so there is probably more choice than you think when it comes to finding the right womens gi size.
Information
Different brands have different sizes for their gis unfortunately. Most stick to the classic mens (generic) sizes A00-A7. Some brands tried to cater for some different sizes which are denoted by the letters S, T or L for Small, Tall, Long. For women specific sizes, ones that should have taken your sizes into account more are typically denoted by F00-F7, etc.
Gi Measurements
Most gi brands are will use just 2 meassurements to put you into a category. Height and weight, thats either in imperial or metric measurements (cm, inches, kg or lbs). Dedicated womens brands, as they are owned and run by women, tend to have all the measurements you'd expect for a garmen. Measurements like wingspan, chest, waist, etc. If you know your measurements then you can use our size guide to help scope out which brand will most likely fit you best.
